Exhibition "Half a Century of Archaeology in Western Estonia"
The exhibition features finds from archaeological excavations conducted in Western Estonia by archaeologist Mati Mandel over the past half-century. More than 500 items are on display, ranging from pottery shards, pendants, and ornamental studs to brooches, breast chains, shield bosses, spearheads, swords, and their fragments. This magnificent archaeological exhibition is unique in Estonia.

This exhibition by the artist Pusa (b. 1979) reflects on how small, natural things grow large over the course of our lives—how a microscopic seed, accidentally dropped from a bird's beak, can change the world. The smaller artworks are displayed in the Ants Laikmaa studio, while enlarged details can be found in the museum park.

The historic Haapsalu railway station houses exhibitions on the history of Estonian railways, as well as the history of telephones, radios, and televisions. The Museum is a gateway to the fascinating culture and history of Vormsi. Vormsi is an island where coastal Swedes lived for nearly 700 years. In 1934, the population included 2,393 Swedes and 122 Estonians. Between 1943 and 1944, nearly all the Swedes fled to Sweden to escape the Soviet occupation. The Vormsi Farm Museum is a typical pre-World War II Vormsi Swedish farmstead.

Enjoy a memorable and fun train ride through the picturesque and romantic seaside town of Haapsalu. The ride takes approximately 35 minutes. The Vormsi Farm Museum is a typical pre-World War II Vormsi Swedish farmstead.
