The historic Haapsalu railway station houses exhibitions on the history of Estonian railways, as well as the history of telephones, radios, and televisions. "City of Broken Crutches" tells the story of Haapsalu's rich history as a summer resort. The broken crutches symbolize health and the success of mud therapy. But what did people do in Haapsalu when they weren't at the mud baths? This is exactly what the exhibition explores. Visitors can get hands-on by trying out various board and card games and experiencing Haapsalu's vibrant café culture.

Take a ride on the "Peetrike" tourist train
Enjoy a memorable and fun train ride through the picturesque and romantic seaside town of Haapsalu. The ride takes approximately 35 minutes. The train departs from in front of the railway station every hour on the hour between 12:00 and 17:00. The ride takes place with a minimum of 7 passengers. Your Peetrike ticket also includes admission to the museum.
